Good, high-impact service leadership requires deep understanding of the interdependencies between technology and operations. Functional architecture provides the tools for describing and benefiting from these tools.
The Functional Architecture in Practice training session helps you understand the functionalities of business applications and the business-critical data objects and relations they manage. During the Functional Architecture in Practice training session, you will learn to use IT4IT notation to describe functional architecture.

The Functional Architecture in Practice training was developed to make the functional architecture description method of IT4IT, which is excellent but underused, a part of as many service organizations’ communication toolbox as possible.
During the session, we will present key functional architecture principles to you and teach you functional architecture documentation through exercises, in which you will learn to apply the theory in practice.

This half-day session consists of a short lecture and several exercises. The session consists of the following:
