Mikko Juola

Mikko has been solving IT-challenges since 1999. For the last 10 years he has been developing customers’ Service Management systems and processes. Through engineering (M.Sc.) background and personal interest Mikko’s assignments have focused on system development, data modelling, requirement specifications and implementations. Especially figuring out how IT systems enable modern service production and automation of repeating activities has a special place in Mikko’s heart. New possibilities inspire Mikko and he’s always willing to try new tools and ways of working in order to improve services. In addition Mikko has facilitated workshops, acted as team leader and service manager, held trainings, managed projects and coordinated offshore activities in multi customer/vendor environments.

Mikko has several certificates and years of experience for tools related to Service Management like ServiceNow and BMC Remedy. Mikko is also familiar with several best practices including ITIL, Togaf and IT4IT. Understanding the “big picture” and being able to interpret IT jargon together with suitable facilitation methods helps to find good solutions together with customers. Satisfied customers also testify that it’s easy and nice to work with Mikko.

Mikko’s family includes lovely wife and a baby girl. And always, when an opportunity arises, Mikko is playing disc golf with his friends. Mikko has fallen into this sport so deeply that his scoring service originally developed for personal use is now used by thousands of players around the world. And in addition to just playing disc golf, he’s also involved in local club activities and arranging competitions and related events.
